Nurturing Life
Bridge for Life Ministries mentor and empower orphans and foster children transitioning to adulthood with the tools and support needed to successfully launch their dreams and careers. B4LM host seminars, workshops, and other interactive events that positively shape future generations.
The Nurturing Life program begins with children ages fourteen and up. Our goal is to help the children build their curriculum for high school, putting them on a more steadfast path for life after high school, whether that includes college, technical/vocational training, and military service or moving straight into a career. Each year of high school, volunteers will work with the children to ensure that the high school courses taken align with the post-high school plans of the student.
B4LM volunteers will also aid the student in filling out applications for college or other training, as well as assist with resume writing, interviewing skills and other skills needed for the children to be successful in life after high school. The volunteers will also continue to mentor the young adults after leaving the orphanages or foster care facilities in order to be successful in launching into and maintaining their adult lives.
